Prestressed Material
Epoxy Coated PC Strand is manufactured in accordance with standard ASTM A882/A882, also called filled epoxy-coated seven-wire prestressing steel strand, it is ASTM A416/A416M low relaxation grade 270 seven-wire prestressing steel strand with protective fusion-bonded epoxy coating applied by the electrostatic deposition method.

During the continuous pinhole detection process, no more than 2 pinholes are detected every 100 feet [30 meters].
The seven steel wires are filled with epoxy resin, which not only tightly integrates and binds the steel wires into a whole, but also forms a friction-reducing layer between the wires, reducing friction and dislocation between the wires under load, preventing the occurrence of fretting wear fatigue and improving fatigue resistance. In addition, the tensile strength of filled epoxy steel strands is increased by 3-4% compared to single-wire epoxy coated steel strands.
